The NEW 2008 Prismatic Electric Fountain:

Construction on the water features, lighting and control system will continue as weather conditions permit. The fountain will be run for testing of the new equipment but not be operated on a regular schedule.

The City Park Alliance will hold an open house from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Pavilion on the west side of Ferril Lake. There will be a display of items and photos from the original Electric Fountain and a preview of the Electric Fountain shows at dark.
Friday May 22, 2009
The Electric Fountain will be turned on for the 2009 season and will run on a regular daily schedule.
Friday June 5, 2009 - 8:00 PM
The Denver Municipal Band will play at the Bandstand in conjunction with a special evening fountain show. More details will be announced here when they are available.
Summer, 2009 The summer fountain shows were cancelled due to damage caused to the multi-color LED lighting fixtures by a lightning strike to the center geyser column of water on June 26, 2009. Low-level operation of the fountain water features (with no lighting) was started on Friday, September 4, 2009.
Tuesday October 13, 2009 (may be earlier if there is a hard freeze) The fountain will be shut down for the season.
The fountain will resume full operation on Friday, May 28, 2010.
