The Denver Municipal Band, under the direction of Gerald Endsley, provided musical entertainment before the dedication of the new Electric Fountain.  After the speeches, the Band played the Stars and Stripes Forever and other period music while the Fountain exploded in a blaze of color in time with the music.  The crowd went wild!

As dusk settles on City Park, the crowd of about 700 people gathered between the pavilion and the bandstand prepares to listen to the dedication speeches and watch the first performance of the new Electric Fountain.
